On Thursday NASA astronaut Scott Kelly returned to the United States after nearly a year on the International Space Station. It was the longest US space mission on record. During his 340 days in space, Kelly was the subject of dozens of medical experiments and scientific studies to learn more about how the human body adjusts to weightlessness and the high-radiation environment of space.
