Some of America’s biggest companies will be voicing their opinions on President Trump’s plans to trigger fresh tariffs on $300 billion worth of Chinese goods. Starting June 17, the US Trade Representative’s Office will kick off seven days of public hearings, and 320 companies are expected to give their testimonies. The companies had previously warned that the stinging duties will translate into price increases, and result in lay-offs.
