US Election 2016: Sanders supporters protest against nominating Clinton

Supporters of Bernie Sanders have protested outside the Democratic National Convention and on the streets of Philadelphia, as the party prepared to formally nominate Hillary Clinton. Several protesters were arrested on Monday as they jumped over a barricade erected by police around the venue. More than 19,000 Democratic National Committee emails were leaked by the WikiLeaks website on Friday, which sparked suspicions that the party establishment hampered Sander’s bid to win the nomination.
