At least 35 civilians have been killed by fresh US-led airstrikes near a town controlled by ISIL in northern Syria, according to a Lebanese pan-Arab TV station. The airstrikes, which targeted the town of Ghandur in the countryside of Manbij, were the third to hit civilians in the region since Kurdish-led opposition group Syrian Democratic Forces and the US started operations against the jihadists there in May.
