President Xi Jinping met with his US counterpart Barack Obama on the sidelines of the 4th Nuclear Security Summit in Washington D.C. on Thursday (local time). The two leaders talked about the development of China-US ties, as well as the international and regional issues of common interests. President Xi reiterated China’s stance on the Korean nuclear issues, the maintaining of peace and security in the South China Sea and the cross-Strait relations. The two sides have agreed to deepen cooperation in fields covering economy, military, culture and cyber space.
