“CNC World is here at the 54th annual Vancouver International Boat Show. It’s the largest showcase of recreational boating in the province. There’s something for everyone, from kayaks to multi-million-dollar luxury yachts.”
The show draws in about 30,000 people to two venues each year.
Here at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium, it’s all about top of the line, whether your interest is in speed boats, fishing boats or luxury cruisers.

“There is always a boat for every budget, if you’re interested in boating, Whether it’s a canoe, a paddle boat, an entry-level fishing boat. And again, you get right up from a thousand bucks to four million bucks. There’s a pretty wide range.”
The show’s producer told CNC that the economy downturn doesn’t appear to affect people’s interests in these big ticket items.
In fact, the low Canadian dollar has made buying boats in Canada affordable for overseas buyers from the U.S. and China, who continue to flock to the show.
The Vancouver International Boat Show wraps up on January 24th.
