Police in Nepal say that they shot and injured at least three anti-constitution protesters on Monday. The shootings came a day after President Ram Baran Yadav put into effect the country’s first-ever democratic constitution. More than 40 people, mostly protesters, have been killed in recent violence over the new constitution.
