Vote on new constitution proposed by Thailand’s military

Thailand’s military junta have faced considerable international criticism for failing to allow open discussion of this Sunday’s referendum on a new constitution. But supporters of the 2014 coup maintain a firm hand is needed to steer Thailand through politically uncertain times. They say the constitution, and the proposed appointment of an unelected Prime Minister, will return stability to the country. The following is one of a series in which Thais speak to CCTV about the issues that concern them.
