Vuk Jeremic, UN Chief candidate from Serbia, on climate change, terrorism, refugee and gender parity

Vuk Jeremic, UN chief candidate and former President of the U.N. General Assembly, vowed to place sustainable development and control of climate change at the center of UN’s endeavors.

He made his statement during the audition for UN Chief on Thursday at UN Headquarters in New York.

Jeremic also addressed peacekeeping, terrorism, refugee and gender parity issues.

The UN General Assembly on Tuesday kicked off a three-day audition with nine candidates for the position of next UN Secretary-general.
