VW’s US chief apologizes at congressional hearing

German auto maker Volkswagen has been under the spotlight since the scandal over its rigging of car emissions tests erupted. German prosecutors launched an investigation into the issue last week after receiving about a dozen criminal complaints from citizens. In the US, the company’s regional boss Michael Horn has apologized for the emissions fraud while speaking before a congressional committee. Jim Spellman has the story.
