Evidence of widespread state-sponsored doping by Russian athletes at the Sochi Olympics was announced on Monday in a report by an independent commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency. The enquiry was led by Canadian law professor and sports lawyer Richard McLaren, and results were unveiled at a news conference in Toronto. The report says a laboratory in Moscow protected Russian athletes’ doping during the 2014 Sochi Winter Games.
