Disney is bringing Chinese developer Wanda to court over alleged Intellectual Property rights infringements, according to a report by Bloomberg published on Monday. Wanda rejected Disney’s accusation, saying a privately owned shop inside its theme park was to blame. Wanda said it does not control the promotional activities of third-party retailers. The development comes after China’s richest man Wang Jianlin, chairman of Wanda conglomerate, opened a theme park on Saturday and made provocative comments about the yet-to-open Disney Shanghai.
