A police officer hung onto the windshield of a moving car for a hundred meters in Qingdao, a city in east China’s Shandong Province, after he failed to stop the car on street.
The traffic officer had asked the driver to pull over because there was no license plate on the car, but the driver refused to stop, suddenly accelerating and forcing the officer to cling onto the hood of the car, as seen in footage from the surveillance camera.
Two minutes later, the driver stopped the car and attempted to flee the scene, but was apprehended by the police officer. In addition to a 10-day detention and a 200-yuan (30 US dollars) fine for reckless driving, the driver got 12 penalty points on his driving record and another fine of 200 yuan for driving without plates.
