Watch: World’s first public car-to-car vertical crash test held in Tianjin

The world’s first public car-to-car vertical crash test took place on Friday in China’s Tianjin Municipality. Two cars – one moving at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour and the other at 16.27 kilometers per hour – were used in the test, which was conducted by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center. Researchers will examine the resulting statistics in a bid to improve car safety. Check out how the car crash test was conducted.
