What would “Brexit” mean for the UK

What would the UK’s future look like if it did leave the European Union? Economically, upon a “Brexit”, the country would have more freedom to make its own trading arrangements. It would also be able to save 10 billion pounds, about 14.4 billion US dollars a year in contribution to the EU budget. But on the downside, half of British import and export activities are linked to the EU. According to Open Europe’s comprehensive new report, UK’s GDP could be 2.2% lower in 2030 if Britain leaves the EU. Here is more.
