White House: No evidence of US voter fraud

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said at a daily briefing on Monday that there has been no evidence of widespread election fraud in the November 8 election, after President-elect Donald Trump tweeted over the weekend that millions of illegal votes were cast. Earnest also said President Barack Obama spoke to Trump by phone on Saturday. Jill Stein, the United States Green Party presidential candidate, has previously requested a recount of votes in Wisconsin. Stein also called for recounts in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan.
