Why Hangzhou? “Paradise on Earth” to host G20 summit

It’s seen as the most beautiful city in China. In ancient times, it was at the southern end of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the oldest and longest man-made canal in the world. In the modern days, it’s a bustling city with stunning natural beauty which retains its rich historical and cultural heritage. In early September, Hangzhou is going to host the G20 summit, and welcome leaders from various continents of the world.
