The Chinese yuan’s central parity rate continued to tumble on Tuesday, falling 137 basis points to 6.5169 against the US dollar. The rate has declined by 233 basis points in just two days of trading in 2016 so far. Analysts say the yuan will continue to face pressure, as investors believe that the Chinese currency is overvalued.
