Wildfire aggravates Syrian misery

A wildfire in the countryside of Homs, central Syria, has aggravated the affliction of the local, who just returned home after two years of fleeing.

Homs residents are gradually returning home after Syrian rebels withdrew from their last remaining strongholds in the heart of Homs in 2014 after two years of government-imposed siege.

However, the wildfire has shattered some people’s dreams to return to normal life soon.
