The Mumbai Police yesterday arrested six alleged Shiv Sainiks for the ink attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni, by the Mumbai Police. It was reported earlier in the day that the men were released on bail and were felicitated by Shiv Sena supremo, Uddhav Thackeray. Reacting to this, Minister of State Home (Urban) Ranjit Patil said, “I will get more info on this matter and brief myself first and then give authentic info on this matter. He also added that all the party leaders were in the city and will be available to answer queries soon. The BJP continued to be evasive when it came to Shiv Sena and refused to answer any more questions. Other than the chief minister of Maharashtra, no other BJP minister has said anything against the Shiv Sena.
