NASA says its Kepler telescope has discovered what it calls the closest thing to an earth-like planet they’ve detected so far. Kepler-452b – not the most sexy of names – is located in a so called “habitable zone” around a sun-like star in the Milky Way. Scientists say it is remarkably similar to Earth and potentially capable of sustaining life.
