Woman rescued from raging river as flash floods strike Guangxi

Flash floods due to continuous downpours have led to dangerously high water levels along a river in Huanjiang county in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. A woman fell into the fast-moving waters on Monday, and was seen clinging onto a piece of wood floating on the river. Local residents tried to throw life buoys to save her, but failed. Rescuers finally brought her to dry land after venturing into the dangerous waters by boat. Take a look!
