A Shanghai wildlife park has showcased the whole process of physically examining a giant panda cub for the first time. According to staff at Shanghai Wild Animal Park, the one-month old panda cub has already gained weight since being born, going from 0.151 kilograms to nearly 1.5 kilograms. Its body length has increased to 38 centimeters from 14.3 centimeters. In order to let the public witness the process, the physical examination took place in a showroom. Visitors could watch through a window. The mother and the cub will officially meet visitors during the national holiday in October.
