World Intellectual Property Day: China focuses on IP rights

April 26 marks the World Intellectual Property Day, which was established in 2000 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in order to raise awareness regarding the importance of intellectual property protection. As a party to the WIPO, China has, over the years, taken concrete steps to protect intellectual property rights (IPR) and crack down on counterfeit products.
