Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a visit to east China’s Jiangxi Province on Tuesday, visiting the Jinggang Mountain, which is hailed as “the cradle of the Chinese revolution.” While there, Xi visited the martyrs’ cemetery to pay tribute to those who fought hard for the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Before leaving, Xi gave the villagers holiday presents and wished them all a happy new year.
