Xi visits Boeing

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday visited the Boeing headquarters in Everett, Washington State, and delivered brief speech.

He said “During my current visit to the United States, I intend to have in-depth exchanges of views with Obama, other American leaders and across sections of American society to deepen the friendship between Chinese and American peoples, broaden various areas of our cooperation and make sure this relationship will deliver more tangible benefits to people in our two countries and anywhere in the world.”

A group of Chinese companies signed in Seattle a deal with Boeing to buy 300 Boeing aircraft, on first day of President Xi’s ongoing U.S. visit Tuesday.
