One of the Mumbai serial blast victim’s son Tushar Deshmukh, whose mother was killed in Century Bazar blast, on Wednesday (July 29) said, “I have signatures of 1600 people given in just 2 hours who all want Yakub to be hanged.” “I have given a letter to the Governor, have met Maharashtra Chief Minister and Nitin Gadkari and will also give these signatures to the President,” he said. “What about my loss? Yakub Memon shouldn’t go unpunished,” he appealed to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. “It was the black day of my life when I lost my mother in 1993 Mumbai blasts,” he stated. When questioned that many people are saying Yakub should not be hanged, he said, “If the Indian constitution is giving a positive result about this, then why do they have a wording that he should not be hanged, so are they against the nation.”
