A group of Taiwanese residents deported from Kenya will be brought to justice in the Chinese mainland, Zhang Zhijun, the head of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said on Tuesday. They were detained after being arrested for cyber-crimes accusations. Zhang said the Taiwanese had been heavily involved in telecoms and Internet fraud targeting mainlanders. They allegedly conducted fraud from overseas bases which led to huge losses from mainland victims and they must be brought to justice, Zhang told the chief of the Mainland Affairs Council, Andrew Hsia, via a hotline.
