Zimbabwe’s president Mugabe urges foreign companies to comply with laws

Zimbabwe’s president Robert Mugabe has issued an ultimatum to foreign owned companies to comply with his country’s indigenisation laws. With the economy firmly top of the agenda, Mugabe stepped up pressure on foreign-owned companies, which are compelled to give up at least 51 percent shareholding to locals under the country’s empowerment laws.
