COVID-19: 64-year-old Singaporean man charged with breaching stay-home notice five times

A 64-year-old Singaporean man has been charged with breaching his stay-home notice (SHN) five times. Teo Say Leong returned from Indonesia on March 20. On four occasions, he allegedly spent about an hour around his neighbourhood for “non-permitted purposes”. Teo was caught on the fifth occasion on March 29. He intends to plead guilty when he returns to court on May 20. Each charge carries a maximum fine of $10,000 and a maximum jail term of six months.
