HSA issues alert for three products with undeclared potent medicinal ingredients
The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) has issued an alert on three products with potentially dangerous side effects. One of them is Skinny Lolita, which is marketed as a traditional, “all-natural” slimming remedy. However, it contains sibutramine, which has been banned in Singapore for nearly 10 years. Another is Xtreme Candy, which contains a substance similar to tadalafil — a potent, prescription-only drug for treating erectile dysfunction.
