SAF parachute training incident: Injured NSF flown back to Singapore

The Singapore Armed Forces full-time national serviceman who was injured in a parachute incident in Taiwan has returned to Singapore. Doctors assessed his condition to be stable and he was flown back on Jan 16. Private Joshua Quek, 21, had sustained a cervical spine injury during his final static-line jump in December. He was flown back in an RSAF multi-role tanker transport, and is currently resting in hospital for further care and rehabilitation.
